Life and Health Pre-Licensing Requirements for North DakotaThere are no pre-licensing requirements for a life or health insurance license in North Dakota. This means there is no required coursework to take or a required number of study hours.

North Dakota Life and Health Exam RequirementsWhen you are ready, contact PSI Testing to schedule your exam. There is a fee associated with each line you wish to pursue. At the time your exam is scheduled, arrive at the testing center with your driver's license, passport or other government-issued photo I.D.
If you pass, your score report will include instructions for applying for your license at NIPR. If you pass, you can be fingerprinted at the test site for your required background check. You will need to pay a fee for fingerprinting. Be sure to apply for your license within 12 months of passing the exam.
