Mississippi Insurance Adjuster License Requirements
Mississippi Adjuster License Requirements For Resident Agents: - 18 years of age or older
- Complete the required 20 hours of pre-licensing
- Register for and pass the MS state exam administered by Pearson VUE
- Complete the Mississippi Insurance Adjuster License application and submit with applicable fees
- Residents are required to complete 12 hours of continuing education per year .
Non-Resident Mississippi Insurance Adjuster License Non-resident applicants for a MS Adjuster License must submit an application. Please visit the
National Insurance Producer Registry for more information on Mississippi non-resident licensing.
NOTE: Mississippi grants reciprocal licenses to adjusters who are licensed their home state or adjusters who hold a Designated Home State (DHS) license, as long as the home or DHS state requires an examination.
