Curriculum Candidates must pass an examination that covers the following online course curriculum: Chapter 2. Borrower Counseling Chapter 3. Property Analysis Chapter 4. Mortgage Credit Analysis Chapter 5. Calculation of Payments Chapter 6. Closing and Endorsement Chapter 7. Payment of Mortgage Insurance Premiums Chapter 8. Assignments Chapter 9. HUD Servicing Examination Requirements The certification exam is an untimed, 100 question, computer-administered exam taken at the conclusion of your studies. A score of 70% is the required score to pass; retakes are available if necessary. No additional exam fees apply. Additional Requirements Candidates must adhere to the Code of Ethics and Professional Responsibility and pass a background check. Issues such as past/pending litigation or agency proceedings must be disclosed, and designees also must agree to abide by CRMA™ Board's Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct. Any required licensing will also be verified. Ongoing Requirements Certification is valid for one year. Certificants are not required to complete Continuing Education credits to maintain their designation; however, there is an annual re-certification test that is administered covering any industry or legislative changes in the Reverse Mortgage market. Certificants also must remit an annual re-certification fee of $150.
